Yes they did! They didn't discover mead, but they did trade with merchants in Asia where they learned how to make mead. They typically drank meads that were between 4-8% alcohol and some historians believe they saved mead for special occasions.

Really enjoyed this mead. Can absolutely taste and appreciate the slight tang of cranberries and sweetness of boysenberries. Beautifully blended with honey, the mead was a highlight to our gathering. Mead forever!

This is a lovely flavour. The sweet of the honey is the first flavour that is tasted then the pineapple gently enters in.
My only question is, how do the bees negotiate the prickly pineapple to gather the nectar? LOL…
Loved the combination of raspberry and black berries. Now I need to try more of the berry meads.
We bought this one for my family to celebrate my husband's passing. The sweetness with the hint of tang really added to the wonderful memories we all shared during his celebration of life. Thank you for this wonderful blending that made our sorrowful moment sweeter.

Absolutely love this mead! The cans are super convenient and perfect for any occasion. The pomegranate flavor is so refreshing with just the right mix of tartness and sweetness. Will definitely be stocking up!

These themed boxes are amazing. This one is right in there. Each bottle with it's unique flavor. I'm always amazed at the way each one is an experience all by itself.
