Enjoyed the flavor and sweetness of this mead. Not overly sweet and very tastful. Still have two other bottles left to try. The gift box is nice just a heads up some assembly required for the box.

When I was looking for this, i had just found out about mead and tried a friends suggestion. The one my friend suggested came with a spice packet, it was pretty good! I was then looking at meads online to see what kind were out there and stumbled on this. I had remembered enjoying mixing butterscotch snapps with dark beer. I liked the rich 'cozy' flavor of butterscotch.
The description on this mead said 'butter' and 'butterscotch' and 'caramel'. I was in a bit of disbelief, as I had tried a couple wines of various price and style and they tasted. . .all the same. I thought "theres no way it actually tastes that much like all of these flavors"
I can safely say that I was wrong, this is one of the most unique flavors ive ever tasted. It was everything I was hoping to find. It is very sweet, and has those cozy rich flavors of butterscotch caramel and, believe it or not, has a rich butter flavor that is drawn out at the end. I thought that this flavor would be strange, but no, it was actually incredible. I will be ordering more and trying some of Batch Meads other ones now too.

So far everything I’ve tried from this box set is delicious ! I mean it ! It’s sweet but not too sweet , and smooth , it goes down way too easy ! Best mead I’ve ever had ! It comes with a lovely display box as well.

What is Mead?
Mead is alcohol made from honey, water & yeast. We focus on small batches with local honey & REAL fruit. We only ferment the honey (not the fruit) to ensure all alcohol is coming from honey.
YES, Vikings did drink mead.
How Do You Drink & Store Mead?
Mead can be enjoyed at 45 degrees (refrigerator temp) or served at room temp when it's not sparkling. You're welcome to mix spirits, ice or mixers - but we prefer it STRAIGHT.
To store your mead, we recommend keeping it in a cool, dry place, like a wine fridge, or a closet, where temperatures don't change and sunlight isn't hitting the bottle. Once opened mead is best enjoyed in 1-3 days, kept in fridge with bottle stopper, otherwise carbonation starts to slip out.
Otherwise like wine, mead can age, although we like to enjoy within a year.
